An associate researcher shall do the following tasks under the guidance of the Group Director, Deputy Director and other senior colleagues:
- Review China's energy and climate change policies
- Make a report on China's domestic systems for promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy, including an MRV (measuring, reporting and verifiability) system
- Review international climate negotiations with special reference to emerging countries and implications for trade
- Coordinate planning and logistics for dialogues, workshops, briefings, and other events in close consultation with stakeholders
