UNU-IAS and the Global Environmental Outreach Centre (GEOC) will host a screening of the 2017 documentary film Chasing Coral, to be followed by a discussion session. UNU-IAS Research Fellow Evonne Yiu will speak about the vital importance of coral to ocean ecosystems and open the floor for audience questions and reactions. Please note that the film will be presented in English with Japanese subtitles, but the discussion will take place in Japanese only.
