概要
Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund was established in 2000 in order to support the regional activities in the biodiversity hotspots of the developing and newly developing countries. By working with governmental partners, it is directly providing funds to the civil society organizations. The funds are distributed based on the funding strategy developed by the multi-stake-holders. It is aiming to enhance the effectiveness of the fund by building partnership among the civil society organizations and its network.
開発途上国や新興経済国の生物多様性ホットスポットを対象に、地域の活動を支援するために2000年に設立された基金。政府パートナーと協調しながら、市民社会グループに直接助成金を供与している。助成金は様々な利害関係者と協議しながら作成した投資戦略にそって付与される。市民社会グループ間の協働体制を構築しネットワークを拡大することによって活動成果の向上を狙っている。
パートナーシップのポイント
The funds sets the Regional Implementation Team and select NGO members. The selected NGO plays the strategic leadership role in each program run at the hotspots.
地域実施チーム（Regional Implementation Team）を設置。メンバーとして選ばれたNGOが各ホットスポット内のプログラムにおいて戦略的なリーダーシップを提供している。
